Digital Artist Dix Taps Into Sodic/Imagine to Craft Futuristic Visions

Tucked within the hillside, this vision overlooks desert landscapes inspired by Sinai and dreams of turning sand into water.

If anything you think of could materialise before you with just a few strokes of a keyboard, what would you type? As part of leading real estate developer SODIC’s AI campaign ‘SODIC/Imagine by the future’ - in which veteran artists and curious passersby alike are invited to visit SODIC’s website, and use the text-to-image AI to create their prospective visions of architecture and real estate - digital artist Dix explored one of an endless array of possibilities for what the future of living spaces could look like.

“By integrating AI in concept design, SODIC is unlocking a treasure trove of out-of-the-box architecture,” Dix tells SceneHome. “Making the most out of human creativity using technology  will allow us to pave the way for awe-inspiring dreams to be turned into innovative realities.”

Having spent four years creating digital and AI art within NFT and Web3 spaces, and three years in the Sinai desert, Dix’s vision was inspired by personal experience. “Drawing inspiration from my spiritual journey in Sinai and the belief that I make my own rules, I envisioned a futuristic villa in the heart of the Middle East,” Dix tells SceneHome. “This digital image represents my perception of the ever-evolving human experience, in a world I consider to be just a fleeting dream.”

The villa overlooks a vast desert landscape, reflecting a harmonious blend of technology with nature. “Through bold architectural choices, innovative design and a touch of mystery, I aimed to transport viewers to a realm where time seems both boundless and fleeting,” Dix explains.

The prompt for Dix’s ideal living space is as follows: ‘Villa: an establishing shot of a (futuristic:1) villa engulfed by the (middle eastern:1) desert, sleek and elegantly designed with a large (swimming pool), palm trees, rocky landscape, wooden + metallic surface, modern glass windows, cinematic’. And while we can see the skeleton for what Dix must have imagined in his mind within his prompt, the result isn’t merely a futuristic living space. It’s a device that reflects upon his ideals for the future; a device that turns sand into water.

“This creation serves as a reminder that we are the architects of our destinies, unafraid to challenge convention and authority in our pursuit of transcendence,” Dix says. “This extraordinary invention challenges the perception of scarcity, reflecting my refusal to be bound by limitations.”

The device harnesses the transformative power of the elements, effortlessly converting desert sands into a life-giving stream of water. “Through this device, I seek to evoke a sense of wonder and unity with nature, reminding humanity of our profound connection to the world around us,” Dix continues. “As an artist, I invite viewers to explore the device’s potential to reshape our relationship with the environment, encouraging a profound shift in consciousness. This sand to water transmutation device stands as an embodiment of my spiritual journey, a testament to my belief in self-determination and a symbol of hope for a future where innovation and harmony coexist.”

So, that was Dix’s vision of the future. What is yours? Visit SODIC /Imagine’s website to explore the potential of artificial intelligence, and have your own idealistic visuals shared in their gallery.
