A shared interest in Egyptian heritage brings jewellery designer Rasha Mansour and interior designer Shewekar together for a one-day event in Zamalek. Taking place today, from 11am to 11pm at Shewekar’s showroom, the presentation brings together jewellery, furniture, art and home accessories through a setting inspired by ancient Egyptian symbolism.

At the centre of the event is Mansour’s latest jewellery collection, 'From Ancient Mysteries to Vibrant Resurrection.' For over a decade, Mansour has drawn inspiration from her study of Ancient Egyptian Mysteries with teacher Katy Noura in Nazlet El Semman. Since launching her brand six years ago, her work has explored symbolism found across Egypt’s temples, pyramids and museums, translating ancient narratives into contemporary talismans.

The pieces on display include the Labradorite Scarab Ring, which references Khepri, the god of renewal, through a scarab carrying a diamond sun set on the brand’s signature lotus band. The Horus Pendant reinterprets the Eye of Horus through coloured gemstones, while the Dendera Zodiac Collection draws from the celestial carvings of the Dendera Temple. Hathor’s Crown Pendants continue Mansour’s exploration of the goddess Hathor through a range of stones and hues.

Presented alongside the jewellery is 'A Fusion of Craftsmanship and Color', a selection of furniture by Shewekar. The display includes the Heritage Meets Modern Console, available in burgundy and bare oak, and the Funky Fusion Side Tables, which combine copper or hammered nickel tops with fluted timber legs finished in glossy lacquer colours and intricate inlays.

Throughout the showroom, visitors will encounter works by a number of Egyptian designers, artists and makers whose pieces contribute to the event setting. These include artworks from Ubuntu Art Gallery and artist Samer El Farouk; handmade rugs by Kahhal Looms; paint finishes by Scib Paints; chinaware from Gala Homeware; pottery by Bisque; decorative objects by Jera, Le Nid Designs, Life Key and Knz; textiles and home décor by Silk and Pomegranates by Alia El Kaissouni; lighting by Kelos Lighting; floral installations by Flower Bar; custom planters by Tpots; and furniture and product design pieces by Jam by Hedayat.
