Lebanese architect Carl Gerges has released a short teaser showing his newly designed AlUla Music Studio, in the Saudi Arabian desert haven of AlUla.
Built using rammed rock and inspired by the region’s Nabatean heritage, whose architecture was based in rock carvings, the AlUla Music Studio pays homage to the desert’s mystique.
Gerges is renowned as both an architect and a musician, having previously toured with indie band Mashrou’ Leila. His designs reflect his musical background, merging rhythm and harmony into his architectural creations.
