Design Emporium, the Cairo-based wallpapers and fabrics haven established by Aziza El Tanani in 1992, is launching a new luxury brand by world-renowned Designers Guild as part of its public fall fair on October 20th. Designers Guild’s portfolio includes some of the world’s most stylish names, such as Ralph Lauren Home, Christian Lacroix and John Derian. During the fair, they will introduce their new brand, ‘English Heritage’, which features collections that are rich in English chintzes and frothy florals that harken back to a more classical time.

Set to take place in Zamalek, the fall fair will be the first time that Design Emporium hosts an event of this scale since 2014, and will feature the works of Cole & Son, and artist Margo Selby’s colourful collection (which was recently released by Osborne & Little). The fair will also include a collection of upholstery fabrics, wallpapers and prints by Nina Campbell, while the French wonders of Casamance and Caselio bring forth botanical patterns on textiles with an inimitable charm.

From bright graphics and wandering scenes to standout dramatic patterns, there will be plenty of versatility on display, catering to traditional and eclectic decorating styles and palettes, whether it’s for a chic hallway, a statement chair or even a dining room ceiling. Design Emporium’s eloquent showroom can be found at the Baehler Mansions in Zamalek, which is scheduled to open its doors from 2PM to 10PM.
