Eklego Collabs with Amina K & Moderna on Summer Accessories Collection

In the spirit of summer, Eklego Design Studio, along with Egyptian fashion label Amina K and the fabric virtuosos at Moderna Kabbani, decided to completely let go and create ‘Mogue’, a collection of home and fashion accessories that are bursting with colour and exude style to facilitate a sweet lifestyle for the season.

This maximalist curation of colour, texture and print is a celebration of the vivid hues and motifs of summertime. It includes floor pillows with handles, bucket bags that double as plant pots, cross body bags, cushions, totes and mats - all decoratively embroidered to enhance outfits, elongate picnics and lounging time and beautify homes.

The coming of these local brands marries product and interior design with fashion to result in voguish decor which can adorn one’s home or one’s person. Each item was crafted in Cairo with care, with textiles from both the archives and the current collection of Moderna, featuring everything from stripey 80s moire to linen with yellow zebra print.

Celebrating the launch, Eklego is hosting a reveal event at its assuaging showroom in Zamalek, from 11 AM to 9 PM for you to experience the ‘Mogue’ collection upclose.
