Going With the Flow in This Dubai Office Design by Mad Studio
Cairo-based design studio Mad Studio has designed the offices of real estate agency LureGaleria in Dubai with a flowy concept.
Calming, uncluttered and with a bold choice of colour, Cairo-based interior design studio MAD Studio created the brand new offices of real estate agency LureGaleria in Dubai as an inspiring and soothing workspace that offers a variety of seating options, maintains a minimal feel and informs storytelling through endlessly undulating details.
“They wanted an artistic space with a compelling interior that reflects their brand’s inspiration and identity,” Mahmoud Abbas, Founder of MAD Studio, tells SceneHome of the spacious and panoramic office that is currently under construction. LureGaleria redesigns and manages properties in the UAE with a hedonistic approach and soon their workforce will get to work in a raw, reserved environment.
In a pure fusion of aesthetics and functionality, the space was designed to keep users working in peace with relaxed visuals that distracts the mind away from the bustle of the city. Many hours would be spent in the offices, therefore seating was key and within the design round and snug furniture is placed around rugged and meandering workstations that are uncluttered to make the space feel free.
“We designed the space to stand out and present a distinct living style that is connected through a contemporary ambiance,” he continues. “The main goal was to create a unique space using simple materials, crossing out all unnecessary elements to end up with a minimal interior that relates to its users.”
“The colour palette created a progressive and lively space,” he adds, referring to the cream alabaster that covers the space from its undulating curves on the walls to the furniture placed in each lounging corner. The calming colour is complemented by the office’s abundance of natural light flooding through floor to ceiling windows which have a huge effect on health and mood within the work environment.
From the lobby to the transparent meeting rooms, the designers created an energising ambiance that boosts inspiration and productivity, presenting the space in a raw form that allows users to connect to it and make it part of their story, and representing their flowy approach through subtle touches and textured materials.
