Light took centre stage as Enlighten unveiled 'Spot On', a brand bringing professional-quality lighting directly to consumers.

At Enlighten’s Zamalek showroom, the company introduced ‘Spot On’, a new brand marking its entry into the B2C market. Known for its work in lighting design for more than 18 years, Enlighten is expanding its portfolio by offering lighting products directly to consumers. The pieces in the collection emphasise flexibility, adaptability and straightforward use, aiming to function across a wide range of interior styles.

The launch took the form of an exhibition curated by Rana Abou-Zeid of Concepts and Tales in collaboration with Enlighten founder Noha Mohsen. The showcase featured 22 vignettes, each presenting a distinct interior setting and demonstrating how the new lighting range performs within different material, textural and spatial contexts. The displays ranged from pared-back, Japanese-inspired arrangements to more layered, classical compositions, illustrating the brand’s intended versatility.

“For me, curating this exhibition meant designing emotions through space — crafting moments that people can feel, not just see, and allowing light to guide those emotions in every vignette,” Rana Abu-Zeid tells SceneHome.

"Spot On is my dearest child — a project I’ve nurtured for years, poured myself into, and watched grow into something that reflects not only a brand, but a part of who I am," Noha Mohsen adds. “With Spot On, we wanted to turn light into something personal — not just something you use, but something you express with. It’s lighting that adapts to you, not the other way around.”

The exhibition brought together contributions from a wide group of collaborators. Glass Code supplied handblown pieces that interacted with the lighting; Layers of Life provided textiles for softening and structuring the spaces; Third Space contributed modular furniture; and Scib Paints developed colour palettes suited to the lighting’s tonal variations. Tamia Tiles produced surfaces tailored to each vignette, while Handmade, Kahhal 1871 and Maud Design created customised details for the settings.

Artwork and décor from Zamalek Art Gallery, Le Lab and Inca & Co were used throughout, while furniture, accessories and textiles were provided by Kenda Furniture, Aurea, Shell Homage, Rofoof, MOHM and Heba Linens. Floral arrangements by Florabele and catering by Kesmat were integrated into the event to complete the visitor experience.

The exhibition is open at Enlighten’s Zamalek showroom until the end of November.
