AD: The Haus by Miracle Events Designs to Transform With Every Event
Designed by Design Avenue, the space shifts between weddings, concerts and exhibitions on Egypt's Red Sea coast.
The Red Sea has gained a new design destination with The Haus, a multi-purpose venue in Makadi Heights, the coastal development by Orascom Development, that approaches event architecture less as a backdrop and more as a flexible framework capable of evolving with each occasion.
Rather than being designed around a single function, the venue accommodates everything from weddings and concerts to exhibitions, conferences and private gatherings without losing its architectural identity. Instead of relying on elaborate thematic transformations, the space is designed to adapt through its layout, circulation and spatial organisation.
The architecture, created by Design Avenue, favours clean lines, generous volumes and open planning over decorative spectacle. The result is a contemporary space that remains visually cohesive while allowing different events to shape the atmosphere rather than compete with the building itself.
Set against the landscape of the Red Sea, the project balances openness with operational efficiency. Behind the minimalist architecture, circulation routes, service areas and technical infrastructure are integrated into the overall design, allowing the venue to transition smoothly between different event formats.
Developed by Miracle Events in collaboration with Orascom Development's Makadi Heights, The Haus reflects a broader shift towards purpose-built event architecture in Egypt, where flexibility, longevity and the experience of the space itself are becoming central to the design.
