Nuba in El Gouna Adds a Colourful New Rhythm to the Red Sea Coast
Nuba in El Gouna is combining sunlit domes, courtyards, wellness spaces, and shared areas that shape life, connection, and community in a coastal setting.
A setting usually associated with Upper Egypt’s Nubian villages appears here in an entirely different context. Washed terracottas, muted ochres, and sun-faded pastels layer across curved surfaces, with domes catching light at different angles throughout the day.
Developed by Orascom Development and managed by Orascom Property Management, Nuba reinterprets these familiar architectural elements within El Gouna’s evolving urban fabric, folding them into the rhythms of a coastal town with its lagoons, waterways, and vibrant community life—positioned as a lifestyle investment where design, setting, and experience come together as part of its long-term value.

Beyond its visual language, Nuba is defined by how it is organised and experienced. The development revolves around a series of inward-facing spaces—courtyards, pathways, and shared areas that shape how residents interact. At the centre, a 2,500 sqm sandy pool acts as an anchor, around which all buildings and facilities are arranged. The layout encourages both connection and reflection, creating a slower, more intentional pace of life that balances social interaction with moments of privacy.
Wellness is embedded into the experience. Meditation gardens, yoga spaces, and landscaped courtyards are woven throughout the site, while the gym and spa extend this approach indoors. Together, these elements create a daily rhythm that supports health, calm, and balance—where wellness is not scheduled, but naturally integrated into everyday life.

Centrally positioned within El Gouna, Nuba sits close to the town’s more active areas while maintaining a quiet, secluded character. It remains within reach of Downtown conveniences, yet feels sufficiently removed to preserve a careful balance between accessibility and retreat.
Inspired by Nubian design the domes, soft curves, and sandy tones are repeated across the site, establishing a cohesive visual language that draws on collective memory while adapting it to a coastal context.

Ownership at Nuba is conceived as a lifestyle investment, where design and service operate seamlessly together. Running on a fully serviced model, reception, concierge, and dedicated housekeeping are thoughtfully integrated into everyday life, offering a consistently high level of hospitality. The experience feels closer to living in a boutique resort than maintaining a home, with every detail planned to ensure ease, comfort, and continuity.
Life at Nuba is ultimately shaped by its community. Courtyards, pathways, and shared spaces invite moments of connection, quiet reflection, and everyday encounters, allowing a sense of belonging to form organically.
