When you take a stroll through downtown Cairo, you’ll inevitably come across its wealth of architectural beauty. Countless styles have adorned Cairo's epicentre throughout the past century. Yet, even here, you may find yourself perplexed by one of the odder buildings in the capital.
Egyptian photographer Amr Allam discovered this gem during one of his photography walks. Its facade looks nothing out of the ordinary, evoking classic European features, until you reach the corner. For a moment, it appears as though the building vanishes beyond the facade's edge…
