Azure Dubai Residences to Rise as Tallest Tower on Dubai Islands

Azure Dubai Residences is set to become the tallest tower on Dubai Islands, at a height of 180 metres. The proposed tower is designed by [MC] Studios, a London-based architectural practice led by Mariana Cabugueira, a former senior architect at Zaha Hadid Architects.
The tower integrates advanced offshore foundation systems, a compact vertical core for operational efficiency, and sky-garden terraces that break up the mass while embedding greenery throughout the structure. At its base, the development will feature retail outlets and double-height lobbies, rising through a series of apartments and penthouses before culminating in a rooftop swimming pool overlooking the waterfront.
As part of Dubai’s 2040 Masterplan, Azure will act as a landmark project, shaping the visual identity of the growing island district. The design process combined parametric modelling, AI-driven tools, and organic architectural principles to create a fluid form that integrates functionality with sculptural presence on the skyline.
