Jusoor, in Arabic, means bridge - a meaning that forms the foundation for Jusoor Design Collection’s exhibition at this year's Milan Design Week 2026. Commissioned by Saudi Arabia’s  Architecture and Design Commission, Jusoor Design Collections seeks to bridge the gap between a new generation of Saudi makers and the global design industry, pairing local talent with internationally established studios and manufacturers.

The display at Milan Design Week features five Saudi designers whose work is being displayed at the Pinacoteca di Brera. The designers are working alongside three international collaborators, brought together by curator and creative director Samer Yamani, around a single question: “How can we bridge the gap for Saudi designers to reach the world?”

The exhibition seeks to answer this question through innovative designs that merge local culture with international names. With Riyadh emerging as a regional hub for arts and culture, the work on show is rooted in specific places and experiences across the Kingdom - from coral reefs to desert plants.

Rooted in local designs and craftsmanship, from glassblowers to weavers, Jusoor Design Collections celebrates Saudi Arabia’s artistry on a global stage, merging tradition with innovation through international collaboration.

From glassblowers translating desert textures to weavers inspired by the Red Sea, the collection celebrates the dialogue between tradition, Innovation, and collaboration.
